What are the free Wi-Fi areas where some mobile carriers can be used?
If you are a user of d Wi-Fi (NTT Docomo), one of Japan's three major smartphone carriers, you can use free Wi-Fi throughout USJ.
Even if you are not a docomo user, you can connect up to 5 devices per account if you are a d Point Club member.
Unfortunately, au and SoftBank users cannot connect, so please use free WiFi, pocket WiFi, or eSIM, which is gaining attention for its easy WiFi access.
In case the free Wi-Fi at USJ does not work...
It is possible that you may not be able to use the free Wi-Fi at USJ because of poor reception or because you are not a NTT Docomo user.
Also, for those who come to Japan from overseas, it is not possible to use d Wi-Fi provided by NTT Docomo, one of the three major smartphone carriers in Japan.
In such cases, it is convenient to use an eSIM that can be immediately registered and used with your smartphone, so consider using an eSIM when traveling to Japan.
