The Bikkuriman Devil vs. Angel Series, which was launched in 1985, sparked a cultural phenomenon. It sold 400 million units annually at its peak and inspired anime and manga adaptations. This 2025 collaboration is the 40th anniversary of the Bikkuriman series. It combines Bikkuriman’s legacy with the Expo’s futuristic character, Myakumyaku (whose name means “continuous inheritance”).

The packaging has a retro design from the Showa era, reimagining Myakumyaku in the classic Bikkuriman style—a tribute to the series’ history. Inside, the crispy wafer chocolate tastes the same as it always has, which will appeal to both longtime fans and new generations.

The chocolates are a great souvenir from Expo or a small gift. You can buy them at Kansai train stations. Each box includes 10 collectible stickers (2 secret designs) drawn by Bikkuriman’s original illustrator, merging nostalgia with Expo excitement.
